Playgrounds, Pools to Go Smoke Free at State Parks

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, & Historic Preservation announced today that they will be creating smoke-free areas where “large numbers of people congregate, including around playgrounds and pools”.

The State Park System has already identified areas at over 100 state parks and historic locations across the state where these smoking policies will take affect including John Brown Farm, Crown Point, Cumberland Bay, Robert Moses State Park, and Pont Au Roche.
