Essex County Discussing Going Smoke-Free

This week, the Essex County Board of Directors discussed making all their facilities and grounds completely smoke-free by November 21st.  The county facilities went mostly smoke free in 2011, establishing “smoking huts” on county property which are the only spots where smoking is permitted.  This next step would remove the huts and ban smoking anywhere on county property.
