Village Approves Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan

Glenn · Jul 3, 2013 · Leave a Comment

Improving and expanding the Village’s River Walk is only one of ten priority projects identified in the new Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan

Last week, the Village of Saranac Lake approved their Bicycle and Pedestrian Trail Master Plan.  This is a huge step for the community.  The purpose of the plan, according to the board’s resolution adopting it, “is to recommend ways to make Saranac Lake even more bicycle and pedestrian friendly and to recommend ways to connect existing trails to develop a complete trail network.”  Check out the full article in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise.

You can also check out the latest blog post on the trails plan on the new Get Out and Live North Country blog.
