Heart Network to Host Workshop on Bicycle and Pedestrian Planning

On March 17th, the North Country Healthy Heart Network will be hosting a workshop entitled:

Implementing Bike and Pedestrian Plans in Small Communities

Who should attend: department of public works/highway department staff & supervisors, elected officials, community advocates, planning board members, interested citizens

Location: Malone Public Health Offices – 125 Catherine St, Malone, NY 12953

Presenter: Justin Booth is an expert in creating livable streets and vibrant communities. He has helped communities across New York and beyond examine, critique and plan for streets that increase activity and safety for all users.  He has extensive experience with City of Buffalo and NYSDOT policy and procedure, and was a leading force in the passage of city, county and statewide Complete Streets policies. Justin also serves as the Chair of the Buffalo Common Council’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board.  Read more about Justin Booth and Make Communities at makecommunities.com
