Better Choices, Better Health® (BCBH) is hosting a 6-week online workshop series for people living with long-term health conditions, with a goal of providing support to stay healthy without leaving your home.
An information session, “How Support from Peers Helps Keep You Healthy,” will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6. Participants will learn from the peers how the 6-week online workshop helps connect you with others for support and discussions so you can better manage symptoms related to long-term health conditions.

Join us for an overview of common symptoms that many people living with ongoing or chronic conditions experience and an introduction to self-management tools that can help them successfully manage symptoms. You will have a chance to practice using several self-management techniques including mindful breathing, goal setting and action planning, and problem solving, giving you immediate tools to set you on the path of increased wellness.
Be a part of the conversation with Better Choice, Better Health Facilitators. They’ll walk you through the online BCBH program and discuss topics that are important to you and your health.
You’ll get an overview of common symptoms that people living with ongoing or chronic conditions experience, as well as an introduction to self-management tools that can help you successfully manage these symptoms.
You’ll have a chance to practice using several self-management techniques including mindful breathing, goal setting and action planning, and problem solving. These exercises will give you immediate access to tools that will set you on the path of increased wellness.
You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions in order to get the most out of the Better Choices, Better Health workshop.
