The Adirondack Food System Network and its steering committee are excited to announce the 2023 Food Justice Summit, to be held at The Wild Center in Tupper Lake, NY, on March 2. This year’s theme is “Feed Back: Food is Health.”
The one-day conference will feature panels on “food as medicine” programs and initiatives, innovative approaches to food system analysis, and environmental health. Additionally, the Summit will highlight two keynote speakers: Dr. Devon Mihesuah, Cora Lee Beers Price Professor in the Hall Center for the Humanities at the University of Kansas, and Benita Law-Diao, New York State Licensed Public Health Nutritionist/Dietitian and Adirondack Park Agency Board Member.

The Adirondack Food System Network is a collaborative effort to address food system challenges as well as support regional communities, farmers, and agencies. Working with the Adirondack Health Institute, the steering committee consists of 15 organizations who serve 13 counties in and around the Adirondack Park.
