Trail Map purchased using CHP Mini-Grant. You can walk the Tewathahita trail at Generations Park in Hogansburg
Volunteers in Akwesasne have been working hard to establish the community’s first walking trail. The Tewatahita Walking Trail was completed this summer with the help of many individuals, businesses and organizations. The Heart Network has provided technical assistance and mini grants over the last two years to help create and promote the trail. Most recently, a trail map was designed and posted at the trail head with a mini grant from our Creating Healthy Places (CHP) program.
